Welcome to the Arboretum at GWCS!

Welcome to the Green Woods Arboretum, a living learning landscape designed to connect students, families, and the broader community to the trees and natural systems that shape our campus. As an emerging accredited arboretum, Green Woods features more than 30 identified trees and woody taxa across our campus. Visitors are invited to explore our Nature Walk, where signage highlights each tree’s common and scientific name along with a digital link to learn more about the species, its characteristics, and its role in the environment.

 

The arboretum is deeply connected to student learning, with Green Woods students actively researching the trees featured throughout the collection and helping develop the educational content presented on this website!
