Green Woods Charter School Annual Fund

This April our students and staff will show their commitment to being stewards of the natural world by participating in a day of service projects in celebration of Earth Day! We are asking 250 members of our community to support our incredible students and talented staff by making a donation to the GWCS Annual Fund.
Every gift—no matter the size—helps our students grow. Your support powers the experiences that define GWCS, including service projects, field studies, and extracurricular opportunities!

Help us plant the first seeds of GW Day and donate early!

Educating Tomorrow's Thoughtful Leaders

Located in Northwest Philadelphia, Green Woods Charter School provides a rigorous education for almost 700 students from grades K to 8 that nurtures students as knowledgeable and conscientious investigators by fostering a keen understanding of the interdependence of and their impact on our local and global existence; creating active young stewards of the natural world.

The Green Woods Charter School Annual Fund, supports a robust educational experience for our students. The fund encompasses all fundraising efforts allowing our school to go above and beyond the core education program to impact the student experience through technology, field studies, extra-curricular activities, and enrichment programming. A gift to the GWCS Annual Fund will directly impact the student experience-funding the service projects, field studies, and extracurricular activities that are the cornerstone of our innovative curriculum.
