Interesting Facts

Fact #1: Norway Maples are considered a tough urban tree because it is able to survive pollution and compacted soil.

Fact #2: When leaves and stems are broken, Norway Maples release a milky white sap from the “petiole” (end of the leaf stem).

Fact #3: Norway Maples can outcompete nearby plants by creating dense shade and absorbing moisture and nutrients from the soil. This can prevent grass and other plants from growing underneath and nearby.
