                              GWCS Science Fair
Please join us for our 5th and 6th grade science fair! Students will be presenting traditional and museum model projects on Friday, March 10th. Families are welcome to attend the science fair from 8:30-10:30 in the gym!

As part of our 20 year celebration we want to recognize 20 local businesses in our community! Nominate your favorite local business and in April we will share the GWCS community picks for the best in our area. Nominate your favorite here!

After School Gymnastics
National Kids Gymnastics will offer a fourth session at GWCS on both Wednesdays and Thursdays! The fourth session will start the week of March 22nd.

Women's History Month

Before the 1970’s “women’s history” was missing in K-12 curriculums, and it was an unknown term to most of the general public. To battle this problem, the first Women’s History Week was celebrated in 1978 with March 8th, International Women’s Day, as the focus. In 1987, Congress declared March as National Women’s History Month in perpetuity. At GWCS we honor and celebrate all the women trailblazers of the past as well as our student trailblazers who will be making their own important contributions. In honor of all the women who have paved the path to equity, we are celebrating the theme of “Embrace Equity” throughout the month.  Equity means giving everyone what they need to be successful. Please check out our social media to see our students striking a pose to show support and embrace equity.

The March PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 14th at 7pm in the music room.  Children are always welcome!
