Interview With A Teacher

Why did you want to be a teacher?
I’ve always wanted to be a teacher when I was younger, I used to play pretend school with my friends and family.
    
What do you like most about the Green Woods community?
I love all of the students, how they love to be outside, and all of the fun outdoor field trips that we get to experience including the Lower Merion Conservancy (LMC)
 
What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
I like hiking, traveling and running. I like reading and spending time with my friends
What are some fun facts about you? I am a fraternal twin, I have a dog named Copper and I have four siblings.

Why did you want to work in the field of education?
I started off in the for profit world. I was making money for other people. I remembered that a teacher made a very big impact on me. The teacher gave me confidence and encouragement. I was inspired by a teacher.
 
What do you like most about the Green Woods community?
I like Green Wood’s mission. I like the environmental and science focus. Also the fact that parents, teachers, students, all live the mission.
 
What are some hobbies that you enjoy?
I like going to the movies. I also like reading and traveling.
 
What are some fun facts about you?
I have six daughters. I have lived in 5 different states. I was born in Delaware. I also went to Penn State.
