Green Woods is a free, public charter school - open to all students. As a public charter school, Green Woods receives 20% less funding compared to other Philadelphia Public schools. That's close to $2,000 less per student each year and we receive no funding for facilities! A gift to Green Woods is an investment in sustainability, the future of a student, and the future of our city and our planet.
Help us bridge the gap in funding with a secure online donation.

In April, the first grade students took part in a video to help educate our community about ticks and tick prevention. Lyme Disease is just one of many diseases that can be transmitted by ticks. Beginning in kindergarten, students at Green Woods learn that tick checks are a very important part of our school day. Please watch this video for helpful hints and visit the following website for more information: www.cdc.gov/Features/StopTicks/
